A Custodian position (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. shift, Tuesday-Friday) & Saturday (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) is anticipated in the Nazareth Area School District, with an initial assignment at Nazareth Area Middle School. Both internal and external candidates must submit their cover letter of interest, application and all other necessary documents through Frontline. The Frontline portal will provide directions to complete and submit an application. Any candidate not in the Frontline system must submit the following forms: Act 34 (PA Criminal History) and Act 151 (PA Child Abuse History) clearances, FBI criminal background check, and Act 82 form. Additional paperwork will be required prior to/upon hire , including but not limited to PA School Health Record with TB test, Act 168 for current and previous employers and I-9 form with appropriate work authorization documents and updated clearances current within one year.
Custodians report directly to the Director/Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations and/or his/her designee. They shall perform duties necessary to the care, protection and preservation of the buildings and grounds in his/her charge. The health, safety, and welfare of the occupants are entrusted to his/her care; therefore, high standards in regard to cleanliness, sanitation, orderliness and safety must be maintained.
