Overview Business Analyst Intern- Summer Internship HealthEdge is dedicated to driving digital transformation in healthcare through transaction automation and real-time business and clinical engagement among healthcare payers, providers, and patients. We are excited to offer our summer internship program for the 7th year!
Internship Program : HealthEdge offers a paid 12-week virtual internship program that allows students to work on meaningful projects, learn about working in a SaaS company, and have fun along the way! Interns will be aligned to a specific team but will also get exposure to various departments and strategic initiatives through our HealthEdge 101 weekly series. Additionally, we provide special events such as Executive Roundtables, Fireside Chats with our CEO, and workshops focused on resume writing, presentations, interview preparation, and more.
Responsibilities: - Review, analyze, and build on existing digital tools and automation workflows by leveraging tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Lucid app and Office 365 Copilot. This will involve continued efforts in identifying opportunities for improving efficiencies, proposing improvements and socialization, and ensuring that the process workflows are well-documented for future reference and optimization.
- Develop and implement Gen AI Use Cases leveraging Office 365 CoPilot to develop innovative use cases that can enhance our current processes. This will include researching and implementing AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
- Assist in the continued comprehensive documentation initiative of the Business Analyst and Data Integration Analyst processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This will ensure that all processes, responsibilities, and best practices are clearly outlined, facilitating better onboarding and training for future hires.
Qualifications: - Masters Degree preferred in CS/Information Systems
Technical Skills: Azure Cloud, Microsoft Power Apps, OpenAI, Python, SQL, Office 365 (M365), APIs
Preferred Skills (Not Required): - Experience in the healthcare insurance industry
