Job Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of our dealership. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and team leadership. CPA certification and prior dealership experience are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting:

• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, including monthly financial statements.
• Provide detailed sales and expense analyses to support decision-making.

Accounting:

• Oversee all accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and invoices.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.

Budgeting & Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to the established budget.
• Manage cash flow to maintain sufficient liquidity for operations.

Payroll Management: * Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with payroll taxes, deposits, and relevant regulations. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and annual audits.

Insurance Management:

• Evaluate and manage insurance renewals.
• Oversee the purchasing of insurance and the processing of insurance claims.

Inventory Coordination: * Supervise physical inventory processes and ensure accurate reporting. Economic Analysis: * Perform economic analyses to identify trends and provide insights. Qualifications:

• Education: CPA certification preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Dealership experience is strongly preferred.

* Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform financial statement analysis.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
