Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional looking to grow in the healthcare industry? We're seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our team! This is a remote, full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring healthcare professionals are credentialed and ready to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role:
As a Credentialing Specialist, you'll oversee and coordinate the credentialing process for clinicians, ensuring all necessary approvals and privileges are obtained efficiently. You'll work closely with internal teams, medical staff offices, and external partners to maintain compliance with credentialing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the credentialing process according to established policies and procedures.
Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate facility applications and approvals.
Assist clinicians in obtaining necessary state licenses when required.
Accurately enter and maintain clinician information in credentialing databases.
Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and submitted for initial credentialing and reappointments.
Track and monitor application statuses, following up as needed to ensure timely processing.
Coordinate and maintain appropriate supervision and state-mandated ratios for Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with legal, ethical, and facility policies.

What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience:
Two (2) years of college coursework in business (preferred) OR
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a medical staff office or credentialing role.

Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in data entry and working with credentialing systems.
