Job Description

The ABBYY FlexiCapture Specialist will be responsible for developing, configuring, and optimizing automated document processing solutions using ABBYY FlexiCapture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating FlexiLayouts, configuring Document Definitions in the Project Setup Station, and applying custom filtering logic. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of document data capture.

• Key Responsibilities:
• FlexiLayout Design:
• Create and design FlexiLayouts using ABBYY FlexiCapture FlexiLayout Studio to extract data from various document types.
• Develop and refine templates to accurately capture data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured documents.
• Project Setup Station Configuration:
• Configure and manage Document Definitions in the ABBYY FlexiCapture Project Setup Station.
• Ensure that all Document Definitions are accurately set up to match the FlexiLayout configurations and capture the required data fields.
• Perform tests and validations to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the Document Definitions.
• Custom Filtering Logic:
• Apply custom filtering logic within the Project Setup Station to enhance data extraction accuracy.
• Develop and implement rule-based logic to filter and validate captured data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction and filtering.
• System Maintenance and Optimization:
• Monitor and maintain the ABBYY FlexiCapture system to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
• Documentation and Training:
• Document all configurations, processes, and procedures related to ABBYY FlexiCapture.
• Provide training and support to end-users and team members on the use and functionality of ABBYY FlexiCapture.
• Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with ABBYY FlexiCapture, including FlexiLayout Studio and Project Setup Station.
• Strong understanding of document processing and data capture technologies.
• Proficiency in creating FlexiLayouts and configuring Document Definitions.
• Experience with applying custom filtering logic in data capture processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other data capture or OCR technologies.

• Knowledge of C# programming language.
• Familiarity with workflow automation and business process management.
