Job Description

As a founding recruiter at Privy, you will be responsible for scaling our team by leading end-to-end hiring. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and closing top-tier talent across engineering, product, and business functions. This is an opportunity to build a world-class recruiting function from the ground up and help define the culture of a fast-growing startup.

What you'll do

• Own the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to closing candidates.

• Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and design a hiring process for candidates.

• Proactively source candidates through various channels, including direct outreach, team referrals, and hackathons / other industry events.

• Operationalize and refine interview processes

• Develop and track hiring metrics to optimize recruiting strategies.

• Build Privy’s employer brand by driving recruitment marketing efforts

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a fast-growing startup environment.

• Proven ability to source and close high-caliber candidates, particularly for technical roles.

• Strong process-building skills with a bias toward operational excellence.

• Passion for startup culture and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• A strong communicator who can effectively sell the vision of Privy to potential hires.

• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.

Bonus points if you have...

• Past experience working with developer tools companies

• People ops experience

• Interest or experience with crypto or fintech

• Physically based in NYC

$150K – $220K • Offers Equity
