Job Description
University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center (UMSJMC) , a member of the University of Maryland Medical System and located in Towson, Maryland, has an excellent opportunity available for a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team.

Job Specifics:
- Seeking an experienced hardworking, detail-oriented NP/PA who embraces a collaborative approach to patient care to join our new hospitalist APP team.
- This new model will be 24-7 geographically located APP coverage for our Hospitalist team.
- In-house nocturnist and intensivist support at night.
- Flexible weekend rotation
- NPs must be Acute Care-certified
- Leapfrog grade 'A', #1 Community Hospital in Maryland, US News and World Report
Qualifications
Education

* Master's Degree (Required)

Certification / Licensure / Registration

* Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License (Required)

Experience and Skills

* 2 - 4 years' previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working in internal medicine preferably in a hospital setting (Preferred)
* Internal Medicine Training experience (Preferred)
* Strong Verbal Communications Skills, Strong Written Communications Skills, Excellent
* Interpersonal Skills, Basic Computer Skills, Excellent Organizational Skills, Strong Customer Services Skills,
* Proven Analytical Skills
