Jr. Designer

Position Overview

Our agency client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join their team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will assist in the development of engaging visual content for various projects, contribute to the design and production of deliverables, working with agility and consistency across all of our client portfolios. This role is perfect for someone passionate about graphic design and eager to grow their skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep up with the latest best practices and industry trends (design, art, film, music) to share ideas and knowledge with project teams/stakeholders

• Have an always-on approach to sharing inspirational creative with the wider team to ensure work is world-class " Transform concept ideas into tangible visual executions, whether sketches, style frames, presentation designs, or branding

• Develop and cultivate the visual aesthetic across diverse projects, guiding their design and production to maintain our high standards.

• Creatively interpret and respond to client briefs, innovating around their brand visual identity and enhancing it, and in some occasions, pioneering a new visual identity under the direction of the Creative Director

• Contribute to the design and production of print and environmental graphics

• Deliver print-ready files directly to the printing vendor and review digital proofs for accuracy

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a graphic designer, ideally in an agency setting

• A solid design background, with a strong portfolio showcasing experience in digital creative production, typography, layout, image editing, and visual identity development

• Experience designing for screens, live events, presentations, and multimedia environments

• Experience designing content-driven experiential activations

• Sound understanding of branding and communications

• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills

• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and presentation software (Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides)

• Excellent teamwork and strong communication skills

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
