Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment, including shredders, conveyors, balers, forklifts, and other machinery .
• Conduct inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues and address them proactively.
• Follow maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Assist in installing, adjusting, and calibrating equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies when performing maintenance tasks.
• Work closely with operations teams to address equipment concerns and optimize performance.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
• Respond quickly to emergency repair requests to minimize production disruptions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician in an industrial, manufacturing, or recycling environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems .
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, or machining is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
