The pay for this position is $60,000.00 - $65,000.00/year.

+ Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in communications preferred, ideally in the non-profit sector. Experience must include digital and social media marketing strategies and analytics.
- Must be a strong communicator and writer, able to develop powerful and inspiring messages.
- Must possess exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be adept at visual presentations including graphics, and photographic skills.
- Must have demonstrated excellence in planning and organizational capabilities.
- Must demonstrate strength in decision-making and problem-solving; able to resolve conflicts, build consensus, and negotiate solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively required.
- Must be computer and technology savvy.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
+ Key Responsibilities
- Implement and execute Benedictine's communications strategy across all platforms (print, web, digital, and social media). Support Benedictine's Programs in execution of communication strategy as outlined by the Marketing and Communications Director.
- Write and create internal communication materials, and external materials such as newsletters, informational brochures and employment advertising.
- Develop and produce marketing, direct mail and public relations materials to support fundraising initiatives that help secure needed financial resources for Benedictine, with special emphasis on the campaign, annual giving, appeals, newsletters, and special events.
- Work with marketing consultants, graphic designers and photographers.
- Coordinate with Benedictine and Foundation staff to identify, post and create relevant program content for the website and social media outlets including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Constant Contact and other outlets as appropriate.
- Ensure brand standards are used correctly on all platforms, and in all materials.
- Provide and model effective project management skills that lead to excellence in productivity and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with staff, parents, donors, and volunteers.

Hours of work
- Full time, exempt
- Day shift, Monday - Friday; 9am-5pm with some evenings and weekends required for events.
Overtime expectations
- Overtime is not required.
Work environment
- Sedentary, office setting.
Travel requirements
- Minimal, if at all for event purposes.
On-call responsibilities
- Not required for this position.
