Home Helpers Home Care - In Home Caregiver (paid training!)

Whether you prefer to work 10 or 40 hours per week (and anything in between!) we have shifts available 7 days a week between 7am and 10pm and occasionally have overnights open. Substitute Care Provider (PRN) positions also available with a minimum work requirement of 4 hours per pay cycle. Home Helpers has clients across the state and we are great at working with your scheduling needs.

Responsibilities:

• Helping clients live an enriched life
• Assisting clients with daily tasks including meal preparation, light housekeeping, transferring, hygiene (showers, toileting), errands, companionship, etc.
• Being a kind, engaging, and attentive companion
• Being attentive to clients' needs and alerting necessary parties if there is a safety or health risk

What you need to be successful:

• A strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and listen to feedback
• Compassion for and interest in people from all walks of life
• Dependability!!
• Experience as a caregiver is helpful but is not required— we can train you
• Physical ability to complete the job (rolling someone over in bed, assisting with balance as standing, etc.)

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Pass a strict 40 year background check and drug test (APS and CPS records checked too)
• Able to work independently
• Able to work at least 3 hours every weekend.
• Open to training and learning to grow your career
• Confidently able to communicate your needs or needs of your clients
• Reliable attendance record
