Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager (Early Career)

Location: Denver Metro Area

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $75K - $90K (Based on Experience)

About the Role:

A great opportunity for a hands-on industry leader with strong mechanical and project management expertise,   Mechanical HVAC Project Manager position working with Project Managers, Construction Manager estimating projects of varying sizes and scope. Closely working with customers, building & maintaining relationships. Providing estimates or bids for industrial and commercial HVAC construction, retrofit projects. Managing projects to achieve milestones

Work Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, occasional on-call after hours
  • May exceed 40 hours/week during peak demand

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage mechanical projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
  • Act as the on-site contact, coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure project milestones, timelines, and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and team members.
  • Manage documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and billings.
  • Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, OSHA standards, and safety regulations.
  • Support team development, mentoring field staff, and ensuring project efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical project management or construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge of chillers, boilers, RTUs, split systems, ductwork, and piping.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & project scheduling software.
  • Experience managing subcontractors & working with General Contractors.
  • Universal EPA Certification preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug testing.
