Position: Scientific/Medical Content Writer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Scientific/Medical Content Writer to join our healthcare agency team. The ideal candidate will specialize in developing scientific and medical communication materials for healthcare professionals (HCPs), particularly within the infant nutrition category. A strong understanding of the science behind infant nutrition, coupled with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling, easy-to-understand content, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Development:
   • Create scientifically accurate and engaging content for HCP communication, including detailing aids, brochures, leaflets, infographics, and digital assets.
   • Ensure alignment with client objectives and regulatory guidelines.
2. Research and Analysis:
   • Conduct in-depth research on infant nutrition and related scientific topics.
   • Analyze clinical studies, guidelines, and emerging trends to provide evidence-based recommendations and content.
3. Storytelling and Messaging:
   • Translate complex scientific information into compelling narratives tailored to HCPs.
   • Develop clear story flows that highlight key benefits, insights, and actionable takeaways.
4. Collaboration and Creativity:
   • Work closely with creative teams to develop impactful content aligned with visual design elements.
   • Partner with account and strategy teams to ensure content meets client objectives.
5. Quality and Compliance:
   • Ensure all content is accurate, scientifically sound, and compliant with relevant industry regulations.
   • Maintain high standards for grammar, style, and tone suitable for HCP audiences.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nutrition, M. Pharm, MSc, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in medical/scientific writing, preferably in the infant nutrition category or healthcare communication.
• Strong understanding of scientific principles related to infant health, nutrition, and development.
• Prior experience developing HCP-targeted communication materials is preferred.
• Excellent research skills and ability to critically evaluate scientific literature.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Creative flair to craft engaging and relatable content.
