Grill Assembler (Part Time)

Position Summary:

Grill Assemblers are responsible for assembling customer and store display grills correctly and efficiently, as well as select patio furniture

sets. Grill Assemblers are responsible for assisting Delivery Drivers in delivering orders to the Customer’s specified location. Assemblers are expected to complete deliveries as needed.

Your Role:

• Ensure items are assembled according to the manufacturer’s directions
• Perform a minimum daily assembly output as provided by the Store Manager
• Report on any defects or damages of any parts immediately to the Store Manager
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and environment
• Properly dispose of all waste accumulated during the assembly process
• Perform professionally and effectively when interacting with Customers and Store Associates
• Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all team members
• Follow delivery processes to ensure Customer expectations are met and/or exceeded
• Assist the Delivery Driver in executing the placement of delivery items as specified by the Customer
• Report on all customer satisfaction issues to the Store Manager

• Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

 A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required in addition to the ability to work a flexible schedule.

About You:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service
• Willing to learn on the job and complete web-based training
• Ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort - typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Requires the ability to move heavier objects with assistance

Compensation Details:

$9 - $12 per hour
