Job Description

Salary: 150,000 - 160,000 USD per year Requirements:

• Extensive experience architecting Google Cloud solutions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience with cloud assessment and migration.
• Experience designing infrastructure, logging & monitoring, and business continuity solutions.
• Advanced experience with container orchestration and scalable solutions.
• Advanced experience with cloud networking solutions (VPC, Shared VPC, Cloud Router, Cloud Firewall rules, Load balancing, etc.).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of cloud security practices such as organization policies, VPC Service Control, Cloud IAM, Cloud Identity, KMS, Cloud Armor, and Cloud SCC.
• Experience with GKE cluster hardening, logging, and monitoring.
• Working knowledge of cloud services (GCE, Instance groups, GKE, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Very good understanding of the CI/CD process and DevSecOps principles.
• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect is a plus.
• AWS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Google Cloud solutions based on customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely updates.
• Assess and manage the migration of existing systems to the cloud.
• Develop infrastructure designs that ensure robustness and continuity.
• Utilize container orchestration to deliver scalable solutions.
• Manage cloud networking configuration to optimize performance and security.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Establish and maintain cloud security best practices.
• Monitor and enhance performance and security for GKE clusters.
• Utilize various Google Cloud services to build and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance CI/CD processes and DevSecOps practices.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $160,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, subject to performance and applicable plan terms.
