Position Overview:
Edgesource is seeking an Emerging Technology and Innovation Support Analyst to work onsite in the Reston, VA area in support an IC customer for Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) and supporting mission-driven Information Technology, Infrastructure Solutions and Services, and Commodity Support. The program will be responsible for operating and maintaining mission critical CT IT applications and systems, while rapidly enhancing IT capabilities. The contract will be responsible for system integration across customer development and O&M activities, providing analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the customer to translate operational requirements into configured systems, integrating the technical inputs of the entire design team, managing interfaces, characterizing and managing technical risk, transitioning technology from the technology base into program specific efforts, and verifying that designs meet operational needs.


Job Duties:
  • Establish and maintain partnerships among technology providers, other customer technology office contractors and leadership to facilitate investigations of emerging technologies that could fill existing gaps, meet existing needs, reduce the lifecycle costs of an existing IT system of service
  • Identify, assess, evaluate, and measure COTS and GOTS emerging technologies and best practices that could be integrated into customer IT implementation, development, or O&M to improve end-products and meet enterprise business needs
  • Engage with Industry, Academia, and Government stakeholder organizations to assess critical technology advancements to innovate and modernize the customer IT enterprise, presenting the customer CTO with recommendations
  • Maintain awareness of new and relevant technologies through investigation of products from the IC, industry, IARPA, DARPA, DoS, and Colleges/Universities
  • Support interactions with the IC, DoD, and other Government agencies, commercial research and development entities, and related organizations for the purpose of applying the technology to the customer


Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • Candidate must have 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Systems research and analysis
  • Understanding of technology and development lifecycles


Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience across the program life cycle (requirements, design, implementation, test, and sustainment)
