We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a direct placement opportunity at a large, well-established non-profit organization for an innovative Financial Analyst to provide financial support and oversight across multiple divisions and departments. This role will involve working closely with budget owners and non-financial colleagues to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to provide valuable financial insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with assigned budget owners to analyze monthly financial activities, explain variances from the budget, maintain forecasts, and assist divisions with business decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships by collaborating with different units and departments to foster trust and accountability.
• Support the annual budget process by preparing, consolidating, and reporting financial requirements.
• Develop tools and reporting capabilities to enhance financial understanding.
• Analyze business processes and recommend actions to improve operational efficiencies.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a financial role using Vertex Software
• Transferable finance or accounting experience, with a desire to work in a mission-driven environment.
• Strong systems and technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office programs.
• Excellent customer service mentality with the ability to interact with colleagues across the organization.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Salary : Dependent on Experience and Applicant Location ($75K - $110K)
