Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) job at Great Bay Staffing Group Penn Yan, NY, US

Job Description

Join a prestigious healthcare team as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner in the heart of New York's beautiful Finger Lakes region. We're seeking an experienced, compassionate NP to provide exceptional acute care services as part of our established hospital medicine team.

Core Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients
Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Manage patient care transitions and discharge planning
Document patient care in EMR systems
Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Current New York State Nurse Practitioner License
Board Certification as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner
DEA certification
Current BLS/ACLS certification
Clinical experience in acute care or hospital setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
EMR proficiency
